Shoe color with a brown dress?

I have a formal event coming up and I am wearing a long brown dress. It is a really dark brown and almost looks black from certain angles. What color shoes should I wear with it? I%26#039;m pretty sure I won%26#039;t be able to find any that match the color of the dress.

White would probably be the best color to go with the dress. White is easy to find in any store and it goes with almost anything! Hope this helps!

Dark browns look great with gold not your oh my look at those shoes gold but a nice non matelic gold.

Reply:i actually think you should go for bold colors, like gold, golden yellow, olive, deep red, or anything along those lines that matches any other colors that might be on the dress, or any jewelry you are going to wear.
